Course Overview

The purpose of this course is to enable student-counselors to become affective in counseling the sick and terminally ill. The student-counselor will be introduced to appropriate responses to illness and an understanding of the present health care system. The student-counselor will learn how to deal with terminally ill patients or how to refer to someone who can effectively deal with it. Students will become more knowledgeable of the ministris available to churches dealing with illnesses.


This course provides guidelines to follow and adapt to your counseling practice. The course is a study guide enabling the student-counselor to facilitate and assimilate vital information in this particular field.
